Description

The SIG-III Doctoral Seminar Series provides an invaluable platform for PhD candidates and early-career researchers to present their ongoing work, receive constructive feedback, and refine their research. By participating in these online webinars, emerging scholars gain opportunities to engage with experienced researchers, broaden their academic networks, and foster potential collaborations. The series promotes a vibrant research culture, encourages intellectual exchange across diverse fields, and supports the professional growth of young researchers by enhancing their presentation skills, critical thinking, and academic confidence.

This event will open with a keynote address from Diane Kelly, the Wilson Distinguished Professor at the UNC School of Information and Library Science (SILS) and four researchers will present their work to get feedback.
