2026 Scholarship: Conference

The ASIS&T Board is offering Awards for students and recent graduates of undergraduate and graduate library and information science programs to attend the ISS/SLC Conference at in Albuquerque, NM June 6–9, 2026. Each award includes conference registration coordinated directly with SLA Staff and a cash stipend.

Such documentation must be in English and can include a current official transcript, a letter from your academic supervisor, diploma with gradution date, or an enrollment certificate. Please upload an essay of 500 - 1000 words addressing how attending the conference will benefit your career. The essay should address any prior involvement with or volunteering in ASIS&T, SLA, or other organizations and institutions that demonstrates commitment to the profession. Generative AI tools may not be used to write the essay. All essays will be run through an AI detector and those deemed to be AI-generated will be disqualified.

I commit to attend the 2026 Information Science Summit & Special Libraries Conference in Albuquerque, NM June 6-9, 2026. I understand that if I fail to attend, I will be responsible for reimbursing any awarded funds to ASIS&T.
