Bio: Devendra Potnis is a Professor at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UTK). His research focuses on access to and use of information tools, resources, and services to create value for vulnerable populations. He has published over 135 research artifacts in high-impact journals and conferences. He has secured over $250,000 in funding from ALISE, IMLS, OCLC, and UTK. ASIS&T recognized him with “Distinguished Membership” and “Member of the Year” award. He is a recipient of the "Faculty Teaching Award," "Faculty Research Award," "Bud Minkel International/Intercultural Research Award,” “Bonnie Carroll and Roy Cooper Faculty Award,” and “Sharrar Research Fellowship.”
