Have You Appointed All of Your Officers for the 2025-2026 term?

Chairs will need to appoint any officers necessary for your SIG or Chapter to function effectively. ASIS&T HQ also needs this information for communication and documentation purposes. Our Membership Manager, Marlo has sent each group an email on December 9 to confirm your officers that we have in our system. Please respond as soon as you can if you have not yet. If you have any questions, contact Marlo at membership@asist.org.

The ASIS&T Board of Directors has recently approved SIG-BIZ to join the lineup of 17 SIGs that we now have. The Business & Industry SIG (BIZ) is is a forum of librarians and information professionals working in business, industry, competitive intelligence, higher education, or other supporting entities. This video is also saved in the SIG Cabinet and Chapter Assembly iConnect Libraries under General Resources. All SIG and Chapter Events should be submitted to HQ on This Form before any marketing takes place.

Please email membership@asist.org with any announcements, information about events, or news to be included in the Weekly Roundup or Inside ASIS&T newsletters. The deadline for Weekly Roundup is every Thursday by 12:00 PM ET. The deadline for the next issue of Inside ASIS&T is January 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET.
